Background

Natalia Sánchez is an assistant professor of research at the Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy at USC. Dr. Sánchez received her BS in Biomedical Engineering from the Universidad EIA and Universidad CES – Colombia, and her MS and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University in the neural engineering track. After completing her PhD, Dr. Sánchez joined the Division as a post-doctoral fellow in the Locomotor Control Laboratory. Dr. Sánchez’ research incorporates techniques from engineering, machine learning, neuroscience, and physiology to understand walking impairment after stroke.
