Background

Dr. Nhu Tran received her PhD in Nursing from UCLA as a Future of Nursing Scholar from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. She holds certifications in neonatal intensive care and clinical research. Nhu’s overall goal is to improve the quality of life in vulnerable pediatric populations by developing strategies to reduce or prevent developmental delays. As an MCD-CTS scholar, she will be studying the physiologic causes of developmental delays in high risk neonates who have congenital heart disease.
