Background

Dr. Chaudhari is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and an Attending Physician in the Division of Emergency and Transport Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). He completed his undergraduate and medical school education at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, followed by a residency in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He then completed his fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital, along with additional research training at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, before joining as faculty in the Division of Emergency and Transport Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. In addition to working clinically in the Emergency Department, Dr. Chaudhari is the Associate Research Director and the CHLA Site Lead Co-Investigator within the federally funded Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN). His research interests include traumatic brain injury, pediatric trauma, diagnostic imaging, and application of evidence-based medicine to clinical practice. His KL2 project is focused on the use of advanced neuroimaging in children with intracranial hemorrhage after traumatic brain injury.
