Background

Dr. Burkholder is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Georgetown University, and graduated medical doctoral degree and Masters in Public Health from Tulane University. His KL2 research focuses on multi-center study evaluating the implementation of the World Health Organization (WHO) Emergency Care Toolkit in Zambia to identify facilitators and barriers to implementation and to inform future dissemination across Zambia and similar resource-limited countries.
