OVERVIEW: SC CTSI previously led a university-wide project to reduce study start-up time.

GOALS: To make clinical research processes more efficient and streamlined.

CURRENT STATUS: Building on that success, we are now planning a second project to further reduce start-up time and improve accrual rates. Our Clinical Research Support core is collaborating with the IRB and Clinical Trials Office on a number of strategies, including investigator education, iStar updates, and lean process improvement to address bottlenecks.
