SC CTSI Offers Pre- And Post-Doctoral Clinical & Translational Research & Career Development Awards

Note: If you did not submit a Letter of Intent by the November 8 deadline, you are still eligible to apply. We encourage you to submit a full application by December 6th at 5pm.

  • The application deadline is December 6, 2013.
  • Applicants will be able to submit their applications through e-GATE, an electronic Grant Application and Tracking Environment developed by SC CTSI. The website will be available Oct 1, 2013.

About the awards

  • TL1 Pre-doctoral Training Award: The TL1 Pre-doctoral Training program is a two-year program that supports research training for pre-doctoral students and provides education, training and mentored career development for those who are highly motivated to acquire the scientific competencies necessary to perform clinical and translational research in diverse populations with a multi-disciplinary, team-based approach.  What previous awardees say about the program | Learn more about the program
  • KL2 Post-doctoral Award: The KL2 Mentored Research Career Development Award is a three-year program that supports the research career development for health professionals or individuals with research doctoral degrees who wish to pursue formal training and a career in clinical and translational research. The program is designed for junior faculty or trainees in late stages of clinical training who will be joining the faculty. NIH Funding Acknowledgment: Important - All publications resulting from the utilization of SC CTSI resources are required to credit the SC CTSI grant by including the NIH funding acknowledgment and must comply with the NIH Public Access Policy.
