Background

Frank Gonzalez, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Keck School of Medicine of USC. He completed his medical doctorate at Harvard Medical School. He went on to complete his Pediatrics residency at the Boston Combined Residency Program (Boston Children's Hospital/Boston Medical Center) and finished his fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He specializes in the acute evaluation and management of pediatric patients presenting for emergent care. His research focuses on understanding the ways in which environmental stressors/exposures contribute to acute health exacerbations in pediatric patients with complex chronic conditions, specifically sickle cell disease."
