The Translational Science Accelerator (TRAX) Unit catalyzes research innovations through two competitive Translational Science funding mechanisms that foster the development, demonstration, and dissemination of novel tools and approaches that improve health research. TRAX Pilots fund small-scale projects that generate scientific and operational innovations to overcome longstanding challenges along the translational research pipeline.
The TRAX Major Research Program supports larger scale Translational Science projects to generate new knowledge, approaches, and tools that address important challenges in the translation of reseach findings to real world impact in healthcare and community settings.
All awarded researchers receive wrap-around support from SC CTSI experts and stakeholders to optimize study success.
